Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or85b and Or85c (Benton et al., 2025). It responds to a few fruity odorants (Benton et al., 2025). It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VM5d, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025). Some of these cells have dendrites in antennal basiconic ab3 sensilla and some in ab11 sensilla (Benton et al., 2025). There are approximately 35 of these cells on each side (Benton et al., 2025).
